For these reasons, we encourage you to only partake in this medicine when you are ready to be still and in sleep/recovery mode. The combination of ingredients in this tincture may cause drowsiness, and slow cognitive reactions. Please do not operate machinery after consuming Night Cap.

Key Botanicals

Valerian Root

Valerian Root is a prized folk remedy for improving poor sleep. Valerian root contains volatile oils like valerenic acids, sesquiterpenes, and valepotriates. These compounds are thought to soothe the nervous system, resulting in improved sleep. Clinical evidence shows 44% of participants reporting perfect sleep and 89% improved sleep with no adverse side effects. Its calming action is further credited to linarin, a chemical which has been clinically proven to aid sleep.

Kava Kava Root

Kava, a popular Polynesian ceremonial medicine and herbal remedy, contains Kavalactones, which have been used to promote relaxation and ease stress. By targeting the enzymes and receptors in the brain (particularly GABA receptors) it can help reduce feelings of anxiety and promote restful sleep.

The Ritual

Dispense 1ml (30 drops) of night cap directly into your mouth or into water or tea, 30-60 minutes before bedtime. Not recommended for long term use, to be mixed with alcoholic beverages, or be used by pregnant or breastfeeding people.
